We are planning to organize practices starting in April. This will allow practice before the 1st Varsity meet on April 25th. In the meantime, if there are any students interested in JV Track (5th and 6th graders), please contact John Proter.
HASA is your Home and School Association. This is a way for parents to come together and help the school be a better place. We provide social event planning for the parents and kids in the school, run events such as teacher appreciation days, and coordinate the many volunteer committees that help out in different areas.
The Home and School Association has four general membership meetings a year which every parent and teacher are expected to attend. Valuable information will be dispersed, your ideas for improvement will be heard and you will get to know more parents. Get involved!

Gift Card (SCRIP) Program
Hosting a Mardi Gras party? or a Super Bowl party? Why not help raise money for St. Mary’s by ordering gift cards through school for those party needs. They’re not just for gifts. If your party planning looked like the following, you’d earn $6.25 for our school. *The number in parenthesis is the rebate percentage SMS earns from that purchase.

The profit seems small, but every little bit counts. We earned over $960 in 2009, that’s just for 3 months activity, so let’s see what we can do in 2010!
Reminder…orders are collected weekly on Thursdays by noon. Place money and orders in the drop off slot in the entryway of school or send in via your child’s folder in an envelope marked “Gift Cards”. (Please make checks payable to St. Mary’s Home and School and put “gift cards” in the memo line.)

We get anywhere from 1 to 5 pts per Label that is submitted from a can of soup or bag of gold fish crackers so your cookbook purchase is equivalent to 25-125 cans of soup worth of points!
